DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues and friends\,\nIt is our special honor and sincere pleasure to invite you and your colleagues again on behalf of the Organizing Committee to the 10th Rijeka Forum of Neurodegenerative Diseases (September 14-16\, 2026.\, Rijeka\, Croatia) organized by the Clinic of Neurology UHC Rijeka\, Department of Neurology Medical faculty University of Rijeka\, Department of Biomedical Sciences in Rijeka of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.\nSave the dates for the 10th forum.\nWe are celebrating our tenth anniversary.\nPlease find enclosed the first announcement with the names of exceptional lecturers who have confirmed their arrival for now. Probably\, some more will join us. \nOur goal is to present the latest developments and dilemmas in the field of neurodegenerative diseases with a special focus this year on the mechanical mechanisms\, treatments\, biomarkers\, genetics\, viruses\, proteinopathies\, neuroinflammation\, metabolic dysfunction\, controversies\, neuroimmunology and other news in neurodegenerative diseases\, to improve our daily practical and scientific work. \nWe hope you will enjoy the news in this important area of neurology and neuroscience and spread information in your national neurological societies.\nFree admission for registrations \nYou can certainly present your center’s research or the works of young colleagues as part of flesh presentations and e-posters. We will have a separate forum for young researchers. When registering\, they just need to click on an abstract and then the organization board will choose which ones are for oral presentations and which ones are for e-posters.\nPlease\, spread the information among your societies so that as many participants as possible can come. Young people can certainly share their research and experiences. DESCRIPTION:Poštovane kolegice i kolege! \nVeliko nam je zadovoljstvo pozvati Vas na \n1. hrvatski simpozij o neurologiji i umjetnoj inteligenciji\nili\, kako smo ga međunarodno nazvali\, \nNAIS – Neurology and Artificial Intelligence Symposium\nkoji će se održati u Splitu\, 1. i 3. listopada 2026. godine\, u hotelu Radisson Blu Split\, u organizaciji Klinike za neurologiju KBC Sestre milosrdnice i Hrvatskog neurološkog društva Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora. \n\n\nUmjetna inteligencija i alati kojima se koristi postaju mainstream i u sebi nose moć i snagu koja nam nudi preobrazbu kliničke neurološke prakse\, bolje liječenje i njegu neuroloških bolesnika\, uz smanjeno opterećenje neurologa i naših suradnica i suradnika. S ovim ključnim mogućnostima u kliničkoj primjeni (brže i točnije postavljanje dijagnoze\, otkrivanje novih biomarkera\, razvoj personaliziranog liječenja\, poboljšanje kliničke učinkovitosti\, poticanje novih istraživanja i pomak izvan granica istraživanja prema potpori u svakodnevnom kliničkom radu\, predviđanjem ishoda i smanjivanjem administrativnog opterećenja) dolaze\, naravno\, i određeni rizici i izazovi (osiguravanje privatnosti podataka\, upravljanje velikim infrastrukturama\, prepoznavanje algoritamskih i drugih pristranosti\, potvrđivanje modela u različitim populacijama i etička primjena) koje neurolozi moraju poznavati i razumjeti. \n\nKako uključiti umjetnu inteligenciju\nu naš svakodnevni rad za dobrobit bolesnika i istovremeno sačuvati „neuroljudskost“?\nGdje su AI i neurologija 2026. i gdje idu?\n\nOčima iskusnih\, „srednjaka“ i mladih neurologa\, i onih koji se tako osjećaju\, kao i stručnjaka iz suradnih struka\, cilj nam je i želja prikazati ulogu i mjesto primjene umjetne inteligencije u neurologiji danas\, kroz različite ključne dijelove neurologije: \n\nNeurovaskularne bolesti\nNeuromišićne bolesti\nIntenzivna neurologija\nNeurodegenerativne bolesti\nNeuroimunologija\nNeuroinfekcije\nNeurogenetika\nNeuronokologija\nNeurodijagnostika\nSpavanje\nEpilepsija\nGlavobolje\nDebljina\nNeuroetika\nNeuropravo\n\nS nadom kako ste prepoznali važnost teme i trenutka\, ali i želju dijeljenja svog znanja\, spoznaja i iskustava\, a kako bismo se svi skupa bolje prilagodili i pripremili za bolje sutra\, srdačno Vas pozivamo da nam se pridružite u Splitu\, gradu tradicije i povijesti\, živahne sadašnjosti i još bolje budućnosti. \nVaš Organizacijski odbor NAIS-a
